Celeste is an Australian Singer/Songwriter based in Melbourne, whose love of music began in her early childhood. By the age of 15, she had already started collaborating with Australian and International DJ’s, Songwriters and Producers on various toplines.

Between 2006 and 2014, she recorded five promo/demo EP’s showcasing her own material.

Celeste is a seasoned live performer and has supported Australian International DJ’s the Stafford Brothers; ARIA charting & award winning artists such as Illy, Pez, Owl Eyes and many other talented artists.

As a Session Singer, Celeste has sung on over one hundred song demos and TV Commercials for a range of Australian producers and writers including: Mike Brady, Sam See, Adrian Hannon & Rod Davies.

Her topline and collaborative work has seen her release three songs with Belgian DJ Producer, Michael Fall, who has clocked up well over a million streams for his music online.
‘BODY ON FIRE’ (2013) peaked at No 2 on the British DJ Dance Chart, No 26 on the German Black Chart and No 29 on the Swiss DJ Dance Chart. The ‘BODY ON FIRE’ music video received Australian commercial television airplay and the song also featured on nine European compilation albums.
Their follow up release, ‘WHEN YOU TOUCH ME THERE’ (2014), peaked at No 15 on the Swiss DJ Dance Charts and featured on seven European compilation CD’s as well as Michael’s second album ‘Ain’t Nothin’ But A Party’ along with ‘BODY ON FIRE’.
2020 saw Celeste team up with Michael Fall again as a featured vocalist and co-writer on the release of ‘TAKE ME BACK’ from Michael’s third album, ‘Million Years’. The song received radio airplay and spent 4 weeks in the official Belgian Ultratop Bubbling Under Charts and peaked at No 4.

In 2016, Celeste featured as a Vocalist and co-writer on the release of the dance single ‘WHAT’S LOVE (GOT TO DO WITH TONIGHT)’ with Dutch DJ/Producer, DJ Farre, released via Squad Music Spain & ZYX Germany. The song has since clocked up over 120,000 streams on Spotify.

Late 2018, Celeste signed a worldwide publishing deal as a Songwriter with Embassy Music Publishing. This has seen her collaborate with a vast array of artists & writers such as Richard Rudolph, Damien Leith, Chymes, Jem Cassar-Daley, Paul Beard and The Beamish Brothers.

She regularly co-writes with artists around the world and has worked with her songwriting and producing partner in Melbourne, Mark Crocker, since 2006.
Of their collaborations, ‘LEOPARD’ won first place in the Great American Song Contest in the Adult/Contemporary category in 2018 and in the Pop category in 2019 for their female empowerment song ‘BOY IT FEELS SO GOOD (TO BE A GIRL)’. She again won in the Pop category in 2021 with ‘THE RICHEST’, a track she wrote and produced herself.

In December 2022, Celeste teamed up with established Australian producer Cameron Taylor and Sydney electronic pop act Chymes to co-write the release, ‘I THINK I MADE YOU UP’. With an ever-growing fan base across the globe following a tweet from BTS star Jungkook, Chymes has been streamed over 40 million times across Apple and Spotify.
The release went on to win first place in the Great American Song Contest in the Pop category.

2023 saw Celeste, as a co-writer on the follow up single for Chymes called ‘MY OWN WORST ENEMY’. Released worldwide in February, the song was also recently awarded an Honourable Mention in the Pop/Top 40 category of the International Songwriting Competition. Both songs co-written with Chymes feature on their third EP ‘Game Over’.

Celeste kicks off 2024, teaming up with both Cameron Taylor and Chymes again to co-write Chymes fourth EP ‘Alien’ set for release later this year. ‘UFO’ is the first song from the EP to be released worldwide in April.

In March, the songwriting trio were announced first place winners for the second year in a row, in the Great American Song Contest, this time in the R&B/Hip Hop category with their yet to be released single ‘SOUR’.

In May, Celeste teamed up with Australian indie-pop artist, Jem Cassar-Daley on the release, ‘TEXAS AIN’T THAT FAR, IS IT DEAR?’. The song was quickly added to a number of Spotify & Apple Music playlists.

This year, Celeste has also had two song placements in season 2 of the Logie Award Winning Australian comedy series ‘Colin From Accounts’.

Celeste’s other career highlights include:

  • Performing at The ‘Hot Barbeque’ festival Portsea, hosted by Molly Meldrum
  • Performing at the closing of the historic ‘Palace Theatre’ Melbourne
  • Singing backing vocals for Vanessa Amorosi at the 2009 AFI Awards and again at Richard Wilkins book launch in both Sydney and Melbourne
  • Supplying backing vocals for Liberation act, Kate Alexa in 2013, promoting her album.
  • In 2014, Celeste was selected from a worldwide audition process for a place in the prestigious Hollywood Immersive program in L.A, where she was mentored by top U.S music industry identities.

Celeste is a Melbourne, Australia based Singer/Songwriter/Producer who, since the age of fifteen, has recorded five EP’s and collaborated on many top lines with local and international DJ’s and Producers. As a session singer, she has sung on over one hundred song demos and TV Commercials for top producers and writers including, Mike Brady, Sam See, Adrian Hannon and Rod Davies. Celeste showcases her vocal and musical versatility through her involvement within different facets of the music industry. While her approach to singing and songwriting is flexible and dynamic, her energy and direction has been focused towards her love of Top 40/Pop music and radio friendly tracks.

Celeste’s lifelong passion for music was influenced by her parents, vocalist Penny Dyer and bass guitarist Craig Newman. For over 30 years Penny has been a vocal coach, television and band performer, session singer and recording artist. Craig ranks among Australia’s elite musicians and has been resident bassist in John Farnham’s band for over 10 years. He has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Joe Cocker, Barry Manilow, Tom Jones, Olivia Newton John and has played 16 consecutive seasons on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

In complement to her vocal talents, Celeste also has a love for dancing, which she has been developing since an early age. As a child she undertook ballet lessons, jazz classes and throughout her teenage years was a member of Next Move Dance Studios, under the tutelage of renowned Melbourne/LA based Hip Hop teacher, Jasna Harris.

In 2006 whilst still at school, Celeste was approached by A-Zone Songbank‘s, Mark Crocker (Songwriter/Producer/Guitarist) and became the studios prime session singer. Between 2006 and 2012, Celeste provided both lead and backing vocals on hundreds of recorded tracks and also recorded many Rap verses throughout the catalogue, showcasing a complete versatility in her craft.

Celeste began co-writing with Mark and features on the studios 2007 compilation album, ‘CALLING ALL FREAKS’ by MC Rocker feat C-Unit. Through that collaboration, they’ve had songs signed to Fable Music Publishing Australia, Leopard Publishing UK, Disco Fries (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Usher etc), Ra Domini (Warner, Universal, Def Jam, Sony US) and Mynority (Atlantic US). She also has co-writing credits with Mark and Singaporean lyricist, Pamela Seagal on ‘Ain’t Got Nothing’, which was the only international song selected from thousands of submissions to feature at the 2010 Muse Expo Conference in LA.

Celeste accompanied Australian singing sensation Vanessa Amorosi as a backing vocalist at the 2009 AFI Awards and again in August 2011 at TV Presenter, Richard Wilkins’ book launch for ‘Black Ties Red Carpets and Green Rooms’ in Sydney and Melbourne. She has also accompanied Australian Pop singer, Kate Alexa (daughter of Australian music promoter Michael Gudinski) as a backing vocalist for the release of her second studio album, ‘Infatuation’.

In late 2009, Celeste and Mark co-wrote and co-produced her second EP, ‘LOVE OVERDOSE’. This EP demonstrated her ability to handle genres ranging from emotional ballads to R&B, Pop, Rock and Rap, ensuring her position as an integral member of the team at A-Zone Song Bank as a Vocalist/Songwriter/Producer.

In early 2010, Celeste, Mark, and Pam Seagal formed the international Songwriting and Production team, Hitsaboard. The team focused on music production, top line writing and original mainstream commercial music. Clients included local and international artists, producers and publishers such as Mustard Music (Bucks Music Group), TC Music & Entertainment US (Ra Domini), Deepface, Chris Sernel (Twilight soundtrack) and Disco Fries.

During 2010, Celeste performed with Aria charted, multi-award winning artist Michael Cristiano (Musical Director/Producer/Guitarist/Vocalist) at University campuses such as Chisholm Institute and also at the opening of the 2010 NESA (National Employment Services Association) conference.

Throughout 2010 and early 2011, Celeste appeared with Melbourne based DJ’s, Mau2Dice, comprising of producers Matt Maud and Jarrod Dyson. They performed both original songs and cover versions of hit dance songs at several of Melbourne’s biggest nightclubs and at the Hot Barbeque Festival, Portsea. The latter was hosted by Australian Popular Music Critic, Molly Meldrum (Journalist/Record Producer/Musical Entrepreneur) with a line-up featuring  local and international artists such as Mos Def and Roger Sanchez.

Celeste joined Melbourne based Reggae, Funk & R&B Band, Malibu Brown in 2011, performing at functions, clubs and boat cruises. Later that year, she formed the duo ‘Method in Madness’ with Melbourne based Keyboard Player/Singer, Adam Rigley and together they re-work a vast array of covers.

In 2011, Celeste and Hitsaboard worked with 2009 German Idol runner up, Linda Teodosiu on material for her second album. One song was co-written with the Disco Fries and Japanese-Korean Record Producer/Songwriter Jeff Miyahara, who has had many number one hits across Asia. Linda has had hits on the German charts and also supported international superstar, Beyonce, on her 2009 world tour in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

At the beginning of 2012 as a solo act, Celeste supported Australian Hip Hop artists, Pez and Illy, singer Owl Eyes and Melbourne based DJ’s the Stafford Brothers at the Mentone hotel, performing an array of current popular dance tracks.

On hearing tracks sung by Celeste at the Muse Expo Conference in LA in early 2012, Entrepreneurial Talent Scout, Song-Plugger and Record Label Executive, Jason Dauman said “I cannot tell you how enthusiastic I am about Celeste’s talent and look forward to helping create the next platforms for her success”. I believe she has the talent to sustain a long career, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.” Dauman Music has had numerous radio hits over the years and has had a constant presence on the Billboard Club charts. Along with Jason Dauman’s interest in Celeste’s potential, producer Mark Berry, also expressed enthusiasm in her career. Berry is renowned for his producing and developing of new and emerging talent in the international music scene and has many multi-platinum award winning credits.

Mid 2012 saw Celeste finish her third EP ‘LIQUID LOVE’, also co-written/produced with Mark from A-Zone Song Bank and a variety of credentialed US producers. It received interest from high level players in the Australian music industry.

In June 2012, she attended Berklee College of Music Professor Pat Pattison’s ‘Rewriting’ Masterclass and in May 2013, attended World Renowned Nashville Music Producer, Tom Jackson’s ‘The Art of Performance’ Workshop.

In June 2013, Celeste co-wrote and featured on the single ‘BODY ON FIRE’, a collaboration with Belgium DJ Producer Michael Fall and Co-writing/Producing partner Mark Crocker. The song was released through DMN Records Germany and reached No 2 on the British DJ Dance Charts where it charted for 5 weeks. It also reached No 26 on the German Black Charts (10 weeks) and No 29 on the Swiss DJ Dance Charts (10 weeks). It was played on radio and in clubs throughout the European Summer and was released in Spain and the USA through Planet Dance Music Barcelona. ‘BODY ON FIRE’ has appeared on nine compilation albums and the film clip released in September 2013,  aired on Australian TV‘s top music program RAGE.

Intent upon improving her capabilities as an artist and performer, in January 2014 Celeste was selected via audition from artist’s worldwide to take part in the prestigious ‘Hollywood Immersive’ workshop in Los Angeles.

May 2014 saw Celeste perform original material with Melbourne based DJ’s Dividem for the closing night of the historic Palace Theatre. She also finished her fourth studio demo EP “NOT THE SAME GIRL” and a compilation EP in September that year. Continuing with her self- development in October 2014, Celeste attended the ‘Face the Music” Conference held in Melbourne and in December, the Electronic Music Conference in Sydney.

Her follow up collaboration with Michael Fall, ‘WHEN YOU TOUCH ME THERE (Treshold), was released worldwide in December 2014. In early 2015, it peaked at No 15 on the Swiss DJ Dance Charts and charted for ten consecutive weeks. The song has also been included on seven compilation CD’s since being released. In August 2015, both releases with Michael Fall were included on his second album ‘Ain’t Nothing but a Party’ released on ZYX Records Germany.

In June 2016, Celeste’s female empowerment song ‘ONE WOMAN ARMY’ was added to the playlist and award winning podcast of prominent American Internet radio show ‘Women of Substance’ where it was placed on high rotation for three weeks. Late 2016 will see Celeste and Dutch DJ/Producer, DJ Farre, release their single ‘WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH TONIGHT’ through Squad Music Spain, which is another top line she has co-written and features on. She continues to work on various other projects for producers, artists and publishers, both local and international.

So far 2018 has seen Celeste and her co-writing partner, Mark Crocker, win first place in the Great American Song Contest in the Adult/Contemporary category with their song ‘Leopard’.

Celeste is a talented, hardworking Singer/Songwriter with a vibrant, infectious personality. She loves music and it is only a matter of time before she is rewarded for her dedication.
